Job summary

XKIG is seeking a Foreperson in Gloucester, VA to coordinate crew members, equipment, and supplies to complete contract work with safety at the forefront. CDL preferred, full-time position with health benefits and 401K options.

Responsibilities include directing daily tasks, enforcing safe practices, inspecting completed work, and maintaining equipment and records. Experience in utilities or vegetation management is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be able to meet and demonstrate qualifications of all positions on a crew.
• Must be able to follow verbal or written directives.
• Must be able to delegate work and take accountability for the performance of a crew.
• Must be able to understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate crew members, equipment, tools, and supplies to complete contracts.
• Direct and supervise daily work and assign tasks to crew members.
• Ensure safety practices and PPE are followed on site.
• Inspect work performed and confirm completion with customers.
• Keep records of time, equipment, and material used.
