Bean Excavation in Star, Idaho is seeking a Crew Foreman to lead daily field operations onsite. You will supervise crew members, assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure work meets safety standards and project specs.
You will operate or direct heavy equipment as needed, coordinate with other teams, document site conditions and progress, and mentor crew to maintain reliability and efficiency on busy excavation jobs.
Company Description Bean Excavation is a heavy civil company based out of Star, Idaho. We provide services in Mass Grading, Concrete prep and Asphalt prep. We also build ponds for aggregate sourcing and aesthetics to drainage and storm water management.
Role Description The Crew Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in Star, ID, responsible for leading and coordinating daily field operations. This role oversees crew members, assigns tasks, and monitors work progress to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with specifications. The Crew Foreman operates and directs the use of heavy equipment, ensures proper setup and shutdown procedures, and supports preventive maintenance activities. Daily responsibilities include communicating work plans and safety expectations, inspecting job sites for hazards, resolving operational issues, and reporting project status to supervisors or project managers. The role also involves training crew members on proper methods, enforcing company policies and safety standards, and collaborating with other teams and contractors as needed.
