Job summary

Restoration 1 New Jersey in Denville, NJ seeks an experienced Lead Mitigation Technician/Crew Chief to oversee field projects and take ownership of assigned trucks and setups. You will perform water extraction, containment, and drying, while documenting progress and coordinating with the Project Manager.

The role is hands-on and requires driving a company vehicle, lifting equipment, and working in residential or commercial properties.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mitigation work required, not an office role.
• Experience leading mitigation projects is a plus.
• IICRC certifications are preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Drive company mitigation vehicle to projects.
• Perform water extraction and emergency mitigation.
• Set up containment and protect jobsite.
• Operate drying equipment and monitor progress.
• Document work and communicate with Project Manager.
• Maintain organized truck and equipment.
• Work independently or with a helper on larger jobs.
