Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Mechanical Designer II for our Plymouth, MN location to model components and assemblies using Pro/E/Creo 10.0 and produce parametric drawings in line with company standards.

You will collaborate with engineers, technicians and program managers to complete tasks, review work for accuracy, and support manufacturing initiatives. US citizenship and ability to obtain a secret clearance required.

Qualifications

• Technical or Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Drafting/Design.
• Two years minimum Pro/E / Creo experience with a minimum of 1 year utilizing Pro/E/ Creo 10.0
• Ability to model fully defined components and assemblies efficiently using Pro/E / Creo 10.0

Responsibilities

• Accept work direction from other drafters/designers, engineers and manager on assigned project.
• Mechanical modeling utilizing Pro/E / Creo10.0
• Create/update parametric drawings in conformance with Northrop Grumman, Industry and DEVCOM Armaments Center 3D modeling standards.
• Review work to ensure accuracy and completeness.
