Job summary

Shaarpro seeks a skilled CAD Design Engineer (CREO) in Fairfield, NJ to develop and update 3D product models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings while ensuring compliance with engineering standards and customer requirements. You will lead design tasks, coordinate with teams, and manage PLM data to support project delivery.

The role emphasizes Creo Parametric modeling, GD&T compliance, and strong communication with customers and internal stakeholders to achieve on-time, high-quality results.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CAD design in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with 3D CAD modeling, assemblies and drawings.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and engineering standards.
• Experience with PLM systems (Windchill/Teamcenter).
• Leadership and project coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D CAD models, assemblies, and components using Creo Parametric.
• Develop and maintain sheet metal, plastic, and electromechanical designs.
• Generate manufacturing drawings in accordance with standards and GD&T.
• Implement Engineering Change Requests and manage design revisions.
• Coordinate with customers and project members to meet deadlines.
• Track progress, risks, and delivery timelines; provide weekly updates.
• Maintain CAD data integrity within PLM systems and configuration management.
