Job summary

Mohawk Industries in Dalton, GA is hiring for an entry-level role supporting yarn supply and creel operations. You will remove empty cones, hang yarn, patrol the creel, and assist with doffing warps while maintaining daily housekeeping and following SOPs.

No prior experience required. Candidates should read and write standard English and perform basic math, with completion of on-the-job and safety training. Team-oriented environment with equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• Reads and writes in standard English and proficient in performing basic math calculations such as addition and subtraction.
• Successful completion of all required on the job training.
• Successful completion of all required health and environmental safety training.
• Work within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for keeping the proper yarn supply close to the creel to change packages efficiently.
• Remove empty cones.
• Hang correct yarn (splice if necessary)
• Patrol creel and keep yarn running.
• Observe the creel, stop the machine if breakout, when necessary
• Assist the operator in doffing a warp/roll.
• Must be able to perform daily autonomous maintenance activities.
• Actively participate in the Quality Improvement Process
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision.
• Follow all established standard operating procedures.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary.
• Perform other tasks assigned by management.
