Qualifications

• 1+ year of creditors’ rights law experience is required.
• Strong civil litigation skills and attention to detail are essential.
• Experience in bankruptcy, foreclosure, commercial collections, creditor representation, or lender-side litigation is preferred.
• Strong legal research, analysis, and writing abilities are required.
• Courtroom experience is preferred.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.
• North Carolina Bar admission is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent financial services providers and business clients in creditors’ rights matters.
• Handle matters involving foreclosure, commercial litigation, bankruptcy, real property, and regulatory compliance.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide clear analysis.
• Appear in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts as appropriate.
• Manage assigned matters and coordinate with attorneys and staff.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and others.
• Contribute to a collaborative practice focused on client service and efficient case management.
