Confidential Employer. is seeking an attorney in Charleston, SC to represent financial services providers in creditors' rights matters, including foreclosure, bankruptcy, and related regulatory compliance.

This on-site role offers hands‑on courtroom experience in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts within a collaborative, professional team. The ideal candidate has SC Bar admission and 1+ year creditors' rights experience, with strong writing, research, and analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Active South Carolina Bar license required.
• 1+ year creditors' rights law experience required.
• Civil litigation experience strongly valued.
• Bankruptcy, foreclosure, commercial collections, creditor representation, or lender‑side litigation experience preferred.
• Strong legal research, analysis, and writing skills.
• Courtroom experience preferred.
• Ability to manage responsibilities independently while working collaboratively with a team.
• North Carolina Bar admission is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent financial services providers and other business clients in creditors' rights matters.
• Handle matters involving foreclosure, commercial litigation, bankruptcy, real property, and regulatory compliance.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, correspondence, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide clear, practical analysis.
• Appear in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts as appropriate.
• Manage assigned matters while coordinating effectively with attorneys and support staff.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties.
• Contribute to a collaborative practice focused on excellent client service and efficient case management.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
