Qualifications

• Active South Carolina Bar license required.
• 1+ year of creditors' rights law experience required.
• Civil litigation experience valued.
• Bankruptcy, foreclosure, creditor representation, or lender-side litigation experience preferred.
• Strong legal research, analysis, and writing skills.
• Courtroom experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• North Carolina Bar admission is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent financial services providers and business clients in creditors' rights matters.
• Handle foreclosure, commercial litigation, bankruptcy, real property, and regulatory compliance matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide clear analysis.
• Appear in state, federal, and bankruptcy courts as appropriate.
• Manage assigned matters and coordinate with attorneys and support staff.
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and others.
• Contribute to a collaborative practice focused on client service and efficient case management.
