Job summary

Pacific NW Federal Credit Union is hiring a Teller at our Portland branch. You will welcome members, process deposits and withdrawals, and support daily transactions with accuracy and confidentiality.

We offer competitive pay of $19–$19.50 per hour, plus incentives for referring products and services, and generous benefits including PTO, health coverage after 30 days, and a 401(k) with company match after 6 months.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 2 years of experience in banking, cash handling, retail, or customer service.
• Strong attention to detail with basic math and computer skills.
• Friendly, professional communication and a member-service mindset.
• Reliability, accuracy, and the ability to follow established procedures.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Welcome members and process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and other transactions.
• Provide accurate information about Credit Union products and services.
• Balance your cash drawer and transactions daily.
• Identify opportunities to refer or cross-sell products as appropriate.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure accurate documentation.

Your Role

As a Teller, you'll be the face of the Credit Union, welcoming members, processing financial transactions, and assisting with everyday banking needs. You'll provide friendly, accurate service while identifying opportunities to educate members about products and services that support their financial goals.

This position is based at our Portland branch.

Key Responsibilities
