Job summary

Air Products seeks a Credit Union Electronic Transaction Specialist at its Global Headquarters in Allentown, PA to support APCI FCU's electronic and digital banking services with a focus on ACH processing, reconciliation, reporting, compliance and member support.

You will work with members and teams to support ACH processing, electronic payments, digital banking, fraud prevention, and other eCommerce operations while upholding accuracy and confidentiality and staying current on NACHA rules.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Business, Finance, or related field required; 3 years financial institution experience may substitute.
• Minimum 3 years supporting electronic and digital banking services.
• Knowledge of NACHA rules and regulations required.
• Strong written and verbal communication; confidentiality and accuracy are essential.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the SME for ACH processes, reporting, claims, training, audit support, and NACHA compliance.
• Process external A2A transfers and support Pay/Person transfer services.
• Lead contact for instant payment services, including FedNow and RTP.
• Assist members and employees with ACH questions and research requests.
• Support wire transfer processing and provide backup for other eCommerce functions.
• Monitor digital banking services to ensure a positive member experience.
• Identify fraud risks using available tools and educate on prevention best practices.
• Develop understanding of APCI FCU products to educate members effectively.
• Participate in projects supporting APCI FCU's goals and member service objectives.

We have an immediate opening for a Credit Union Electronic Transaction Specialist at our Global Headquarters in Allentown, PA.

The Credit Union Electronic Transaction Specialist is responsible for supporting APCI Federal Credit Union's electronic and digital banking services, with a primary focus on ACH processing, reconciliation, reporting, compliance, and member support. This role serves as the subject matter expert for ACH-related services while helping ensure digital banking solutions remain effective, secure, and deliver an exceptional member experience. You will work closely with members and internal teams to support ACH processing, electronic payments, digital banking services, fraud prevention initiatives, and other electronic transaction operations.

Required Skills / Abilities:

• Experience supporting electronic and digital banking services within a financial institution.
• Working knowledge of ACH processing and NACHA rules and regulations.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as the subject matter expert for all ACH-related processes, reporting, claims, training, audit support, and NACHA compliance.
• Process external Account-to-Account (A2A) transfers and support Pay a Person (P2P) transfer services.
• Serve as the lead contact for instant payment services, including FedNow® and RTP®.
• Assist members and employees with ACH‑related questions, issues, and research requests.
• Assist with incoming and outgoing wire transfer processing and provide backup support for other eCommerce functions as needed.
• Monitor and support digital banking services to ensure a positive member experience.
• Identify and mitigate potential fraud risks using available tools and resources, including BioCatch.
• Stay current on emerging fraud trends and educate members on fraud prevention best practices.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of APCI FCU products and services to effectively support and educate members.
• Participate in projects and initiatives that support APCI FCU's strategic goals and member service objectives.

Minimum Hiring Requirements:

• Associate degree in Business, Finance, or a related field required; a minimum of three years of financial institution experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of three years of experience supporting electronic and digital banking services.
• Experience or knowledge of NACHA rules and regulations required.
• Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional member service while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
