The hourly pay for this role is between $20 and $22 depending on experience.

WhatYou’llDo:

The Credit Underwriter will look for opportunities to send deals to a lender – they will need to develop an understanding of our lenders and the basic qualifications of applications. The Credit Underwriter will be responsible for overseeing the underwriting process, verifying data submitted with application and review and approve deals submitted for funding. The role’s day-to-day duties include (but are not limited to):

• Driving enhancements to Auto Approve'sunderwriting strategy with our lending partners by applying a quantitative, data-driven approach
• Deliveringcustom and standard trainingleveragingexpertiseand consumer lending experience
• Creatingrecurring & ad hoc reports/analyses that will support critical decision making in the life cycle of a lead
• Helpingimplement internalscorecard and decision trees
• Conductingexploratory analyses toidentifykey triggers of customer behavior that can beleveragedstrategically
• Accessingand connects datasets across multiple sources to draw out actionable insights
• Communicating results and recommendations to internal stakeholders

WhatYou’llNeed:

• Proficient in Excel
• Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRMs required
• Experience Consumer Loan Finance/Underwriting experience (preferred)
• Experience with a loan origination system (preferred)

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work : This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are variable and based on business need. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Physical Requirements : This position is indoors. Must be able to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period. May be asked to lift approximately 25 lbs. Exposure to moderate noise and light, i.e business office with computers, phone, printers, light foot traffic.
