Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC. is seeking a Credit Trainee to kickstart a career in commercial credit.

The program runs 8–12 months and includes hands-on learning in warehouse, sales, and delivery operations, with mentors from the credit leadership team guiding you through extending trade credit and building customer relationships. The path leads toward a Credit Manager role, with progress into Area Credit Manager responsibilities as experience grows.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years work experience post bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• Ability and desire to work in a fast paced, customer service driven company with a strong desire to enter a career credit development program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills including face-to-face conversations, conversations by phone, and presenting in front of groups.
• Ability to build relationships with high emotional intelligence and people skills is a must.
• Willingness to learn and be part of a team!

Responsibilities

• Join an 8–12 month training program across warehouse, sales counter, deliveries, shadowing operations, and meetings with customers.
• Develop working knowledge to extend credit to trade professionals and build customer relationships.
• Relocation to Brooklyn, NY after training, with relocation allowance provided.
• Grow within the Credit team toward Area Credit Manager responsibilities.
