Job summary

First Commonwealth Bank is seeking a Credit Systems Analyst to review the structure, content and quality control of reports used in calculating the Allowance for Credit Loss (ACL). The role supports audits, process improvements, and reporting for policy exceptions, financials, covenants, and criticized assets.

The incumbent works with multiple departments, develops partnerships to understand business drivers, and can lead projects with limited supervision in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, accounting, finance, economics or related field.
• At least two years of related lending/credit, report writing, core systems or related activities.
• Strong data analysis skills are required.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication across all levels of the organization.
• Advanced problem solving skills and analytical planning; work independently.
• Proficient Word, Excel, Access.
• Must have a valid driver's license; travel may be required between Indiana, PA, Pittsburgh, PA and NE Ohio.
• May be eligible for telecommuting.

Responsibilities

• Develops and produces advanced, standard and ad hoc department and enterprise-level credit reporting.
• Ensures accurate report production for Credit Committee and other staff meetings.
• Develops, maintains and reconciles models used in ACL calculations.
• Reviews structure and quality of internal and system-generated reports.
• Assembles, compiles, and resolves data errors to ensure consistency.
• Streamlines processes and reports; participates in special projects.
• Deletes and appends records for system consistency.
• Tracks policy exceptions, financial statements and covenants with analyses.
• Maintains and updates the department's business continuity plan.
• Supports and provides direction to other Credit Systems Analysts on reporting solutions.
• Leads some Credit Systems projects and updates management on status.
• Completes other related duties as assigned.
