Job summary

Mesh is seeking an Associate Director of Credit Underwriting & Operations to lead the credit function and shape the company's corporate payments strategy through data-driven insights and automation. You will own the credit portfolio end-to-end, partner with a warehouse bank, and work with C-level leadership to influence strategic decisions.

You will design underwriting frameworks and drive scalable decisioning across product lines, while collaborating with Sales, Finance, and Compliance to scale

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial credit underwriting or related experience.
• Experience building and managing a credit program with risk frameworks.
• Strong analytical skills with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead Mesh’s credit function end-to-end, including limits and portfolio actions.
• Manage the warehouse bank partnership and portfolio reporting.
• Design underwriting and risk strategies across lending products and customer profiles.
• Conduct forecasting, loss modeling, and due diligence for new programs.
• Own credit policy from design to execution and impact measurement.
• Improve operational credit workflows with cross-functional teams to drive automation.
