SUMMARY :

The Credit Service Representative (CSR) is a customer-centric, detail-oriented individual who serves as primary point of contact for our customers, addressing inquiries and resolving problems related to credit reports.

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday 11 : 30AM to 8 : 00PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). Starting pay rate for this position is $18.30 per hour, but pay is commensurate with experience.

Fully remote; candidates based anywhere in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. Training is typically the first 4-6 weeks, and will also be fully remote at this time.

A laptop and work equipment will be provided!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

The following is a list of essential functions, which may be subject to change at any time and without advance notice. Management may assign new duties, reassign existing duties, or eliminate based on business needs at its discretion.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide excellent customer-centric service in line with company standards through inbound and outbound calls.
  • Analyzes incoming electronic and telephonic information and verification requests.
  • Manages incoming supplement requests as well as pending requests.
  • Directs calls and inquiries to appropriate area / function as applicable; liaise with other departments within Xactus to handle requests and queries from customers effectively.
  • Processes sensitive personal information (PI); follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies, ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and secure handling of confidential information.
  • Provides timely and accurate information to incoming customer calls / electronic requests.
  • Processes supplements on a timely basis. Meeting departmental goals on production, turn-time and quality.
  • Review and interpret credit reports and data contained within.
  • Must understand some complicated issues like foreclosure, bankruptcy and other implications on status with handling credit verifications.
  • Adheres strictly to training manual and procedures.
  • Follows all workflows and documents all actions in proprietary system.
  • Answers incoming phone calls within 3 rings.
  • Participates in skills training, as requested.
  • Adheres to, and maintains compliance with, all Federal and State regulations and Universal policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Xactus' products, services and policies to ensure accurate and consistent communication to the customer.
  • Assists other team members as needed.

Position Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS :

EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE :

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least two years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the financial services or credit services industry.
  • Strong understanding of credit services and regulations preferred.
  • Experience in a call center environment helpful.

This is a remote position. In this role, you are required to have a high speed internet connection, and a quiet, distraction-free work environment that is conducive to productivity.
