Job summary

Blackstone seeks a NY-based Managing Director or Principal to lead the credit secondaries strategy within Strategic Partners. The role focuses on sourcing, analyzing, and executing investments in credit portfolios and funds across private credit classes, including secondary LP portfolios and GP-led deals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of private credit experience.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Strong communication skills and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a lean growing team.
• Proven management skills with multi-project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team and manage all deal process stages from sourcing to closing.
• Negotiate and structure transactions within tight timeframes.
• Prepare internal memoranda and investment materials to support recommendations.
• Monitor investments and communicate strategy/performance to investors/clients.
