Job summary

The role requires underwriting new transactions, renewals, extensions, and modifications, with collaboration across the deal team and senior management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a commercial lending underwriting role.
• Experience with financial statements, collateral, and covenants.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; formal credit training is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain oversight via internal reporting and dashboards for portfolio monitoring and loan compliance.
• Validate and analyze financial statements, collateral reports, and appraisals to verify compliance.
• Ensure credits are accurately risk rated and monitored; prepare quarterly portfolio reports.
• Underwrite new transactions, renewals, extensions, and material modifications for existing clients.
• Participate in external client meetings and internal deal discussions with senior management.
• Perform due diligence and present credit requests to the required authority.
• Participate in special projects related to portfolio management.
