CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA) is seeking a Director to join its Credit Risk team serving financial services clients. The role oversees loan review engagements, mentors staff, and provides technical leadership on audit and accounting issues.

The position emphasizes building client relationships with bank executives, contributing to business development, and staying current with banking industry developments while ensuring high-quality credit risk reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• Degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Collect data to scope loan review projects.
• Evaluate credit files and assess risk on an aggregated basis.
• Coordinate with clients for timely fieldwork completion.
• Lead loan review engagements and communicate findings.
• Review workpapers and loan review reports for quality control.
• Prepare and review credit review reports.
• Provide ongoing technical assistance to clients.
• Address client issues proactively.
• Oversee assigned staff on credit risk engagements.
• Assist in business development and strategic activities in the credit area.
• Develop and maintain relationships with bank executives and directors.
• Attend conferences and association meetings for financial institutions.
