Job summary

Seacoast Bank is seeking a Credit Risk Data Analyst to lead data-driven decisions in credit risk measurement and reporting across the bank. You will organize and leverage data to drive fact-based actions, and collaborate across the company for implementation, data management, analytical execution, forecasting, and monitoring.

The ideal candidate will have finance, strategic and analytical acumen, and be able to influence multi-functional teams across the bank.

Qualifications

• MA/MS in Statistics or quantitative field preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive, related experience.
• Strong analytic skills and problem-solving ability.
• Knowledge in credit risk analytics, loss forecasting, and PD/risk rating development.
• Extensive programming skills: SQL, SAS, Python, SAS/Stat, SAS Enterprise Miner, and/or R/Python.
• Visualization software such as SAS Visual Analytics and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize credit data to provide analysis for management, Board and regulatory reports.
• Provide analytical insights on credit trends and emerging risks in portfolios.
• Coordinate with analytics teams and data originators for data consistency and to reduce redundancies.
• Collaborate with lines of business to address data quality issues root causes.
• Use analytical skills to improve data quality and drive business insights.
• Cultivate cross-functional relationships to turn insights into actions.
• Utilize data handling and mining tools to support data quality programs.
• Standardize data definitions and document data trails across processes.
• Audit data accuracy by running reports and coordinating with field staff.
• Lead responses to audits and support documentation.
• Identify and evaluate emerging analytics software and tools.
