Job summary

Seacoast National Bank is seeking a Credit Risk Data Analyst to lead data-driven credit risk measurement and reporting across the bank. You will organize and leverage data, develop consistent analyses, and collaborate to implement improvements in data management and forecasting.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with statistical software, and the ability to influence multiple teams to drive accurate insights and timely actions in risk management.

Qualifications

• MA/MS in Statistics or quantitative field preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive, related experience.
• Strong analytic skills, knowledge of statistical software, and problem-solving ability are a must.
• Knowledge in credit risk analytics, loan loss reserving process, loss forecasting, probability of default and risk rating development.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize credit data to provide analysis and conclusions for management, Board and regulatory reports.
• Provide analytical insights for executive management and the board on credit trends and emerging risks in portfolios.
• Work with analytics teams and data originators for consistency and to eliminate redundancies.
• Partner with lines of business to address data quality issues and improve data assets.
• Use analytical and technical skills to improve data quality and drive business insights.
• Cultivate cross-functional relationships to ensure insights become actionable.
• Utilize data handling and mining tools to support data quality programs and analytics applications.
• Standardize credit data definitions and ensure a documented data trail across processes.
• Research data integrity issues and self-audit data with staff to ensure accuracy.
• Lead resolution to audits and supporting documentation.
• Proactively identify emerging analytics software, technologies, and tools.
