The Credit Risk Data Analyst at Seacoast Bank will lead analytical efforts to organize and leverage data for fact-based decisions across the bank. You will develop and execute a consistent set of data analyses for credit risk measurement and reporting, collaborating across the bank for data management, analytics, forecasting, and monitoring.

The ideal candidate has finance/quantitative acumen and experience in credit risk analytics, loss forecasting, and data quality improvement.

Qualifications

• MA/MS in Statistics or Quantitative field preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive related experience.
• Strong analytic skills and problem-solving ability.
• Knowledge in credit risk analytics, loan loss reserving, loss forecasting, PD and risk rating development.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Extensive programming skills: SQL, SAS, Python, SAS/Stat, SAS Enterprise Miner, and/or R/Python.
• Visualization software such as SAS Visual Analytics and Power BI.

Responsabilités

• Synthesize credit data to provide analysis and conclusions for management and regulatory reports.
• Provide analytical insights on credit trends and emerging risks to executive management and the board.
• Collaborate with analytics teams and data originators to ensure data consistency and to eliminate redundancies.
• Partner with lines of business to address root causes of data quality issues.
• Use analytical and technical skills to improve data quality and drive actionable insights.
• Foster cross-functional relationships to translate insights into business actions.
• Utilize data handling and mining tools to support proactive data quality programs.
• Standardize credit data definitions and ensure a documented data trail across processes.
• Investigate data integrity issues and support audits with reliable documentation.
• Identify and evaluate emerging analytics software, technologies, and tools.
