Job summary

GreenSky is seeking a credit risk professional to own and manage one or more credit strategy processes for the Home Improvement lending platform. The role spans strategy design through execution with responsibility for profitability and disciplined growth of the strategies managed.

This high-ownership, hands-on position requires defining loan valuation frameworks, monitoring performance, and implementing policies within GreenSky’s decisioning infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in credit risk, credit strategy, or analytics in financial services or fintech.
• Degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, OR Engineering or CS; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience building loss and valuation models for consumer credit portfolios.
• Experience with test-and-learn methodologies (A/B testing, champion/challenger).
• Strong data extraction with SQL and analytics in Excel/Tableau/Python.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage one or more credit strategy processes end-to-end.
• Define loan valuation and risk-adjusted return frameworks.
• Monitor early performance signals and design test-and-learn strategies.
• Code and implement credit strategies within the decision engine.
• Collaborate with Product, Servicing, Capital Markets, and Compliance.
