Our client, a leader in the financial technology industry, is looking to hire a Risk Analyst to join their team in Plano, TX. This is a hybrid role and will be onsite 2x a week.

*This job is a 6-month W2 contract role with benefits & paid holidays!*

As a Risk Analyst, you are responsible for preventing financial losses and minimizing any impact that fraudulent activity may have on our client’s customer base. You will investigate potential fraud by analyzing data indicators for financial risk patterns and resolve financial risk issues.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, analyze, and resolve queued fraud cases
• Place outbound calls to customers to validate payment transactions
• Maintain detailed case notes for all fraud cases
• Manage escalations with efficiency and professionalism

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field
• 1-4 years of experience in Fraud Risk mitigation
• Excellent research and investigate skills, leveraging tools such as LexisNexis, etc.
• Strong customer service skills in a financial environment
