Job summary

Staffmark Workforce Solutions presents a contract Credit Risk Analyst role with a global leader in electronics, mobile devices, and appliances, based in Plano, TX.

Key responsibilities include managing commercial credit risk for a diversified portfolio, completing reviews, and using risk tools and third-party data to set credit limits.

You will build relationships for financial updates, support senior analysts, and contribute to forecasting and investment risk analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics.
• Minimum 1-2 years in a similar field or related work experience.
• Experience with D&B reports and other trade data is a plus.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the commercial credit risk for an assigned portfolio of accounts made up of smaller limits and a less complex portfolio mix.
• Complete credit reviews and assigned tasks on a timely basis.
• Use credit risk analysis skills along with available risk assessment tools and third-party data to analyze and recommend limits for existing and new account requests.
• Build relationships with the Customer for periodic financial updates and Sales for forecasts.
• Follow established procedures and learn existing workflows.
• Support senior analysts in cross-functional coordination.
• Assemble spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reports.
• Analyze financial information to produce forecasts of business, industry, and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions.
• Interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability, and future trends in investment risks.
