Job summary

Overlake Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Credit Resolution Representative to research billing and payment posting issues initiated by patients, insurance carriers, or others. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years post high school education preferred.
• Two (2) years of work experience in cash posting, credits or insurance billing in a healthcare environment is required, with five (5) years’ experience preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance claims processing and third-party reimbursement procedures preferred.
• Knowledge of Federal, State and third-party payer billing requirements preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative and take responsibility while contributing to a team.
• Ability to deal effectively with difficult people and/or difficult situations, including families of deceased individuals.
• Ability to set priorities and use good judgment.
