Job summary

Proviso Math & Science Academy in Forest Park, IL seeks an hourly Credit Recovery Facilitator to oversee the district's Credit Recovery Program after school hours. A valid Illinois Professional Educator License and experience supervising credit recovery, tutoring, and coordinating instructors are required.

Responsibilities include scheduling, enrolling students, serving as the main contact for issues, monitoring progress, and keeping records.

Qualifications

Requires valid Illinois Professional Educator License.
Experience supervising credit recovery, summer school and/or after‑school tutoring programs preferred.
Experience tutoring students in one‑on‑one or small group settings preferred.
General Administrative Endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide oversight of the Credit Recovery Program and coordinating staffing and logistics.
Enroll students into credit recovery courses selected by the school counselor.
Serve as the main point of contact for student and staff issues related to the credit recovery system.
Support credit recovery instructors in monitoring student progress and collaborating with counselors and classroom teachers.
Maintain accurate records and data related to student participation and program effectiveness.
Attend mandatory (paid) training sessions and comply with district policies.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Building Principal.
