Job summary

Proviso Township High Schools District 209 is seeking a Credit Recovery Facilitator to oversee the district's credit recovery program at Proviso West High School. The role supports instructional staff, coordinates staffing and logistics, enrolls students, and maintains records to ensure students recover credits and stay on track for graduation.

The position is an hourly, non-tenure assignment with shifts Monday-Thursday from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM (or as determined by the building principal).

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License.
• Experience supervising credit recovery, summer school and/or after-school tutoring programs.
• Experience tutoring students in a one-on-one or small group setting.
• General Administrative Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Credit Recovery Program and coordinate scheduling and staffing.
• Enroll students into courses selected by the school counselor.
• Serve as the main contact for student and staff issues related to the credit recovery system.
• Support instructors in monitoring progress and coordinating with counselors and teachers.
• Maintain accurate records and data on student participation and program effectiveness.
• Attend mandatory training sessions and comply with district policies.
