Mission Lane LLC in Virginia, Richmond, seeks a Business Manager for the CLIP program to own outcomes for existing customers and guide underwriting, pricing, and growth strategies. You will leverage AI tools, build data-driven recommendations, and mentor analysts to improve customer success and lifetime value.

The role supports cross-functional collaboration with product, data science, and engineering in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a highly analytical role.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in economics, finance, engineering, mathematics, or a similarly quantitative field, with a strong academic record.
• A track record of leading complex, cross-functional analytical projects from start to finish.
• Experience guiding or mentoring other analysts.
• Comfort working in SQL, Python, or similar tools for data analysis.
• Ability to travel ~4+ times per year for high quality in-person collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Use AI-driven tools to speed up and sharpen your analysis.
• Adjust our approach as customer behavior and the market change.
• Turn financial data into clear recommendations that grow the business while managing risk responsibly.
• Run small tests in market, then use what you learn to decide where we invest next.
• Guide and mentor analysts working alongside you on the program.
• Develop actionable strategies based on data-driven insights and model the expected financial impacts to improve our underwriting & pricing strategies while ensuring customer success.
• Design and enhance the customer lifetime value (LTV) model to drive business growth.
• Present and communicate clear recommendations to senior leadership.
• Enable long-term growth by pushing forward our testing agenda to build insights into consumer behavior and invest in future growth.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams across product, data science, and engineering to bring strategies to market
