Qualifications

• Knowledge of finance and accounting usually acquired through formal education or experience.
• Analytical and communication skills to determine credit risk and to prepare credit presentations.
• Personal computer skills to prepare Excel financial spreadsheets and Word documents.
• 1-5 years in credit/financial analysis on companies.

Responsibilities

• Manage credit risk for a portfolio of commercial credit clients and monitor loan performance.
• Support Relationship Managers through financial/credit analysis.
• Research and analyzes financial statements; evaluate risk and creditworthiness.
• Prepare credit memoranda for credit committee approval; present at committee when required.
• Collect client information and complete financial statement projections.
• Evaluate covenants for credit facilities and monitor compliance.
• Review legal documentation and update credit quality to Credit Policy.
• Monitor loan portfolios and conduct due diligence with lenders/relationship managers.
• Travel to client locations as required (minimal travel).
