Overview

You’ll be joining the US Credit Risk Management - Securitization team. The team manages credit risk associated with Deutsche Bank’s securitization financing activities in the US. Credit officers analyze and approve securitization transactions, set and monitor facility limits, negotiate credit terms, and conduct ongoing risk monitoring and stress testing. This position will oversee and credit risk manage the Lender Finance business involving middle market, broadly syndicated, and venture loan portfolios to private credit funds.

What You’ll Do
  • Support review and credit approval of CLO warehouse facilities secured by middle market and syndicated loans, ensuring exposures align with risk appetite
  • Collaborate with First Line of Defence to structure transactions with risk mitigation
  • Analyze collateral quality considering credit ratings, counterparty strength, industry trends, and macroeconomic factors
  • Stay informed about market trends affecting securitized assets to mitigate risks
  • Prepare detailed credit memos and present at credit committees
  • Participate in portfolio monitoring, stress testing, and regulatory/audit requests
How You’ll Lead
  • Build relationships with 1LoD colleagues, challenge assumptions, and provide feedback
  • Communicate credit views to senior management and mentor junior staff
  • Lead responses to audit and regulatory inquiries
Skills You’ll Need
  • Credit risk management experience with CLO structures and middle-market/broadly syndicated loans
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to evaluate cash flow models
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields
Skills That Will Help You Excel
  • Ability to work independently under time pressure
  • Experience with securitization, rating agency methodologies, and corporate credit analysis
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

The salary range in New York is $100,000 to $142,250, based on experience and qualifications. Salaries do not include incentives or other compensation.
