We seek a Lead Credit Model Validation specialist to lead independent validation across Monzo's credit model portfolio, work with impairment, capital, stress testing, forecasting and credit decisioning, and present findings to committees.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in credit model development or validation.
• Deep knowledge of statistical techniques and model risk management.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead independent validation across Monzo's credit model portfolio.
• Work with models for impairment, capital, stress testing, forecasting, and credit decisioning.
• Challenge model assumptions and perform statistical analyses.
• Write validation reports and present findings to committees.
• Partner with first line of defence and wider risk teams.
