Live classes may continue on GetSetUp after the initial phase.

Qualifications

• Current U.S. credit counseling license or professional credential explicitly accepted under the program's licensing requirements.
• Ability to provide documentation of current licensure or accepted credentials for verification.
• Professional experience in credit counseling, credit reporting, credit scores, and consumer financial education.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain financial concepts clearly and simply.
• Comfortable teaching and interacting with learners online.
• Ability to engage older adults with varying levels of financial knowledge.

GetSetUp is an online learning platform that helps older adults stay active, learn new skills, build confidence, and connect with others. Our classes are led by experienced instructors, known as Guides, who make learning practical, accessible, and engaging.

We are looking for an experienced, licensed credit counselor who enjoys teaching and wants to help older adults better understand and manage their credit and financial well-being. This is an independent contractor position.

This opportunity may be particularly appealing to an experienced or semi-retired professional who wants to continue sharing their knowledge through meaningful, flexible, part-time work.

About the Opportunity

The initial assignment involves preparing and teaching five virtual classes focused on understanding credit scores and reports, correcting credit report errors, protecting credit, and maintaining financial well-being in retirement.

GetSetUp's content team provides suggested class outlines, key learning points, and presentation materials. The selected Guide will review and personalize these resources, contribute their professional expertise, and deliver engaging, practical classes for older adult learners.

Each class will be taught live at least once, with the opportunity to continue teaching live classes on the GetSetUp platform following the initial assignment.

Schedule and Compensation

• Independent Contractor position.

• Paid time for class preparation, recording, and live instruction.
