Job summary

Chadwell Supply in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Credit Specialist to manage credit applications, billing discrepancies and past-due accounts. You will communicate with customers, post payments, and update CRM notes to ensure accurate account statuses.

This role requires cash collection focus and collaborative teamwork. The position offers full-time hours, weekday schedule, and room for growth across Chadwell Supply’s 30 branches nationwide.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age minimum.
• Experience in collections, AR, AP or property management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• At least 3 years of working environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers regarding credit applications, billing, discrepancies and overdue payments.
• Receive payments and post amounts to customer accounts.
• Confer with customers by phone, mail and email to determine reason for overdue payment and obtain payment.
• Review terms of sale, service, payment or credit contracts with customers.
• Maintain electronic CRM notes of customer interaction and account status.
• Determine when delinquent accounts are turned over to the legal department.
• Submit daily paperwork and completed assignments as directed.
• Grants extension of credit when appropriate.
