Job summary

Horizon Hobby, a leader in the global Radio Control industry, is hiring a Credit & Collections Specialist for our Champaign, IL site. This full-time, on-site role offers weekday hours and a typical pay of $20-24 per hour with potential bonuses.

You will manage accounts receivable, review credits, and resolve billing disputes while maintaining strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in credit/collections, excellent communication, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize a high volume of accounts.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor accounts receivable aging and contact customers with past-due balances.
• Assist with payment arrangements and escalate settlement requests per policy.
• Review credit applications and provide credit limit recommendations.
• Review accounts and orders for hold/release based on credit criteria.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies with internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activity in ERP/CRM systems.
• Prepare reports on delinquent accounts and cash flow projections.
• Escalate complex issues to management or third-party agencies.
