You will assess credit risk, reconcile accounts, and support billing disputes while maintaining strong customer communication. A minimum of 5 years in collections is required, with 2+ years in construction preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in collections, with 2+ years in construction preferred.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong mathematics, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate information and present solutions to a customer.
• Experience utilizing Get Paid is a plus.
• Ability to prioritize needs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned accounts daily and initiate collection actions through Get Paid system via email or phone.
• Maintain clear documentation on steps taken towards collections on all accounts.
• Monitor accounts and advise senior management on third-party collection escalation and legal counsel usage.
• Notify internal sales partners about collection issues.
• Assess risk by researching credit history and reports.
• Perform account reconciliation as needed.
• Review credit hold reports and release orders as appropriate.
• Collaborate with internal billing to resolve billing disputes.
• Perform other tasks to support department success.
