Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Document Specialist for the Private Banking Credit Middle Office Closing Team. You will prepare, review, and finalize legal documents for complex credit transactions, ensuring all details meet regulatory and policy requirements.

You will collaborate with internal partners and external counsel to facilitate timely closings, mitigate risks, and contribute to process improvements in a high-exposure, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business management, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum one year of documentation experience.
• Direct client interaction experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Understanding of legal credit documentation, covenants, ownership structures and guarantees.
• Outstanding time management and ability to multitask.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and finalize a wide range of legal documents for complex credit transactions.
• Ensure documentation meets regulatory, policy, and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external counsel for accuracy and completeness.
• Facilitate smooth and timely client closings by managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Identify and mitigate regulatory and credit risks through thorough documentation practices.
• Support process optimization to enhance efficiency and control.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding client service.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of loan documentation, CRE, and credit policies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of documentation standards and procedures.
• Provide guidance to team members on best practices and documentation requirements.
• Participate in projects driving innovation and excellence within the team.
