C.C. Controlled Combustion Co. Inc. in the NYC area is seeking a Credit & Collections Specialist to manage outstanding balances, assess repayment options, and maintain accurate account records.

This in-person, Monday–Friday role in Bronx, NY requires 2+ years in business‑to‑business collections, strong communication, and proficient MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; further education preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of business-to-business collections experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and superior time management skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and databases.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers by phone or email to finalize collection of outstanding debts.
• Analyze customers’ ability to pay and establish repayment plans.
• Monitor balances against set credit limits and escalate when the limit is exceeded.
• Maintain accurate records and notes.
• Respond to daily account queries and inbound calls and settle customer disputes.
• Reprint invoices and statements if required by the customer for processing of payments.
• Identify opportunities for optimizing results and improving customer satisfaction.
• Consistent customer follow-up.

Duties

• Contact customer by phone/email to finalize collection of outstanding debts.
