The role requires a Master’s degree in a quantitative field, 5+ years of related experience, and hands-on expertise with SAS, Python, R, SQL, and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in quantitative field aligned with credit analytics.
• 5+ years in analytics roles such as data scientist or risk analytics.
• 3+ years building credit risk models and time-series analyses.
• 3+ years with client behavior scoring and data pattern analytics.
• 2+ years delivering analytics via SAS, Python, or R.
• 2+ years leading end-to-end data projects with stakeholder engagement.
• Experience presenting to executives with visuals in PowerPoint, Tableau, or Qlik.
• Familiarity with Agile SDLC and Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence).
• Experience implementing production analytics solutions and data architecture.

Responsibilities

• Drive analytics strategy for a commercial bank lending portfolio and align data priorities with business goals.
• Advance data science capabilities using Generative AI to improve surveillance of borrowers.
• Serve as functional manager and SME for credit analytics processes and data products.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to define requirements and analytics for risk strategy.
• Lead end-to-end analytics initiatives and monthly executive reporting on portfolio health.
• Translate complex findings into actionable business recommendations.
• Mentor a team of data scientists and analysts to strengthen credit analysis expertise.
• Oversee quality control to ensure consistency and governance of analytics products.
