Job summary

Points West Community Bank is seeking an in-office Loan Analyst to support lending and operations. The role focuses on credit analysis, financial statement spread, ratio calculations, and collateral assessment for business and personal loans.

Responsibilities include monitoring SBA loans, internal loan audits, reporting loan exceptions, and assisting with day-to-day operations while growing knowledge of underwriting and compliance policies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in lending and operational activities.

Salary Range: $55,000.00 To $65,000.00 Annually

Job Description

This in-office position will assist in lending and operational activities. The position will uphold a tradition of honesty and integrity provided to the customers and fellow employees. This is an intermediate level position that will primarily include loan financial analysis and loan administration duties.This position is responsible for analyzing credit, spreading financial statements/tax returns, calculating ratios and collateral aspects of business and personal loans. This position will also assist with monitoring loans to ensure proper documentation, covenants, mitigate risk and identify trends. This individual will work closely with loan officers, loan administration and report directly to the Branch Manager.Growth within this position will occur by developing and maintaining a working knowledge of all loan underwriting, documentation, appraisals, compliance, internal bank reports and other related policies.

Additional duties include:

• Monitoring and reporting of SBA Loans
• Coordination of Internal Loan Audit Processes
• Monitoring Loan Exceptions, Borrowing Bases, and Interim Financial Reporting
• Assist with all other day-to-day operational activity as needed

Minimum Qualifications

Individual with financial analyst or accounting experience required, ability to communicate well with customers and employees, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Demonstrates attention to detail, organizational skills, dependability, and can manage multiple tasks. Has the ability to listen, follow directions and identify the needs of customers and other team members. College degree or previous banking experience preferred.
