Job summary

The United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a corporate credit professional to support underwriting and monitoring for moderately complex client relationships across project finance and infrastructure lending. You will analyze financial statements, assess risks, and prepare financial analyses using advanced modeling and systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in corporate or commercial credit.
• Experience in project finance/tax equity/structured credit with a focus in energy, power, infrastructure, or data center financings.
• Formal credit training program at a financial institution.
• Master's Degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes client financial information, identification/mitigation of potential risks, compliance with regulatory requirements and evaluation of collateral in determination of credit worthiness.
• Completes monitoring activities via analysis of clients' financial performance and collateral evaluation to ensure appropriate requirements are met.
• Reviews completed client requests to ensure compliance with policy and procedures.
• Understands how credit data is used internally and provided to regulatory partners.
• Assists with periodic portfolio reviews.
• Participates in loan structure conversations and completion of loan documentation.
• Perform financial, business industry, and transaction analyses, conduct research, and prepare supporting documentation for transaction credit approval.
• Performs intensive qualitative and quantitative due diligence on transaction structures, stress scenarios, financial models, engineer reports, and terms and conditions.
• Participate in the underwriting and documentation of project finance and other credit facilities designed to meet both client and investor needs as well as balance the bank's internal risk/return requirements.
• Review the credit profile of key transaction counterparties (e.g. borrowers, servicers, sponsors and off-takers).
• Engage with various partners including GCIB Enterprise Credit Officers for recourse obligors, Enterprise Credit Risk, and Global Markets Risk
