Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a seasoned credit professional to analyze client creditworthiness and write credit approval memos for renewals and new lending opportunities. The role focuses on qualitative and quantitative data, covenant compliance, and collateral assessments to support risk appetite.

You will monitor and underwrite transactions, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive timely approvals.

Qualifications

• 3 years commercial and/or corporate banking credit experience with financial analysis
• Experience in underwriting, credit risk analysis and closing of transactions
• Commercial credit analysis and financial modeling experience
• Proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• Analyze client's financial performance against past results, projections and industry benchmarks
• Review financial statements and covenant compliance, renew risk ratings
• Assist in underwriting, risk analysis, negotiation and closing of transactions
• Evaluate risk-adjusted profitability to guide capital allocation
• Build client projection models using historical data and industry forecasts
• Train and mentor credit analysts and collaborate with the team
• Provide credit coverage for Banks, Broker Dealers, and Exchange Companies
• Oversee end-to-end credit approval processes and workflow efficiency
