Bank of America is seeking a credit risk professional to analyze client creditworthiness and underwrite new lending opportunities. The role involves evaluating financials, projections, covenants, and collateral to ensure alignment with risk appetite and to support approvals.

You'll monitor credit quality, prepare memos for renewals, and coordinate with stakeholders to execute transactions for U.S./CAN Banks and related clients. Strong modeling and Excel skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3 years commercial and/or corporate banking credit experience with financial analysis.
• Experience in underwriting, credit risk analysis, negotiation and closing of transactions.
• Proficiency in commercial credit analysis, financial modeling and underwriting.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsabilités

• Analyze client's financial performance against past results, projections and industry norms.
• Review financial statements and covenant compliance, renew risk ratings and suggest changes.
• Assist in underwriting, credit risk analysis, negotiation and closing of new or existing transactions.
• Evaluate risk-adjusted profitability to guide capital allocation.
• Build client projections based on history and industry forecasts.
• Train and mentor credit analysts and collaborate with team members.
• Provide credit coverage for Banks, Broker Dealers, and Exchange Clients.
• Oversee end-to-end credit approval process and monitoring workflow.
