Job summary

CFS and a local partner are seeking a Credit Analyst II in Madison, WI. The role focuses on analyzing loans up to $30M+, reviewing financial statements, and ensuring thorough documentation and risk assessment.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting/Business (Associate degree welcomed) and 2+ years of financial analysis or credit experience. Mentoring junior analysts and maintaining strong lender relationships are key aspects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business; or related field.
• Associate degree welcomed.
• 2+ years of financial analysis or financial services/credit experience.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships by using appropriate communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze new loans for the organization ranging in size up to $30M +.
• Gather and analyze loan documentation.
• Oversee documentation, monitor and review member files and loan performance.
• Analyze statements such as tax returns, income statements, balance sheets, rent rolls, leases, appraisals, personal financial statements and credit reports to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
• Mentor Credit Analyst on team.
• Complete risk ratings and file review of commercial credits when necessary.
