Credit Analyst is responsible for approving, monitoring, reporting, and managing all activities for a portfolio of accounts financed internally withing Straumann, or externally via third-party finance partners. This includes overseeing internal financing applications, payment plans, and external financing partners such as DLL and PEAC. This role involves collaborating with internal management to recommend and monitor goals and performance measures, ensuring alignment with Straumann USA LLC's financial objectives.

Job Responsibilities

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

  • Responsible for annual finance portfolio of up to $50,000,000 between both Internal and External financed customers.
  • Review customer credit worthiness and risk evaluation for Internal Financed customers.
  • Finance approvals based on defined Credit Approval matrix.
  • Set and maintain customer financing approvals and credit limits through financial analysis & credit research including but not limited to past payment performance, credit reports, industry analysis and risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with internal management to set up payment plans in SAP and Delego for internally financed customers; close out payment plan when final payment is completed.
  • Communicate order finance status, both internal and external finance, to Straumann Sales, Sales Support, Customer Service and Digital Team.
  • Maintain daily reconciliation of Third-Party financing companies, primarily DLL and PEAC. Insure Straumann is funded prior to order release and all payments and credits get applied correctly.
  • Update all finance reporting for the sales team (commissions) accurately and always before month-end closes.
  • Run and analyze weekly aging for past due accounts; research root cause of issues that delay payments.
  • Successfully negotiate and process payment plans within the defined approval matrix.
  • Provide weekly accounts receivable delinquency updates to a shared drive; participate as requested in management weekly conference calls with Sr. AR Manager, Director of Accounting, CFO, and Sr. Sales Leadership.
  • Review clearing and process of all credits on accounts.
  • Regular hours are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with up to four days per month from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years’ experience in credit related field.
  • Experience providing credit risk analysis and financial statement analysis.
  • Experience using spreadsheet software.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, critical thinking, reporting, time-management, and organizational skills required.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Adept at decision making and negotiation.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Able to communicate with personnel at all levels of technical ability and expertise.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience with SAP AR/Collection functions
  • Experience in SAP, SAP CRM and High Radius
  • Experience with High Radius
  • Basic knowledge of Excel & MS Windows
  • Excellent communication skills, listening, and problem solving
