Job summary

Western Alliance Bank is seeking a Credit Analyst for its 2027 Commercial Banking Development Program in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on spreading, analyzing, and maintaining financial background data, and developing credit studies for loan officers and executives.

You will work within a leading hotel franchising finance team with a broad portfolio and exposure to hotel real estate, underwriting, and cross-functional collaboration across treasury, FX, and legal documents.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accounting course.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• An interest in working in Commercial Banking.
• Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision.
• Entry level speaking and writing communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Credit Administration team in analyzing credit and collateral information to determine risk in lending.
• Review client financials and perform sensitivity analysis to evaluate credit risk.
• Collaborate with Bank groups to execute treasury management products and prepare loan packages.
• Facilitate reporting and requests with third parties and monitor loan disbursements for compliance.
