Job summary

East West Bank in Dallas is seeking a Credit Analyst to support underwriting, credit monitoring, and portfolio management for acquisition, value-add/bridge, and construction loans across all asset classes.

You will collaborate with Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers, engage with clients and legal counsel, and help maintain timely financial reporting and covenant compliance. The role requires 1–2 years in banking/finance and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or combination of education and directly related experience.
• 1-2 years of banking or finance experience.
• Strong business writing skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist Relationship Managers (RMs) and Portfolio Managers (PMs) with underwriting and managing non-owner-occupied commercial real estate loans in accordance with the Bank’s established guidelines and policies.
• Engage with clients, legal counsel, commercial support staff, and other internal business partners.
• Ongoing portfolio management including tracking and spreading financial reporting, monitoring covenant compliance, annual reviews, risk rating changes, and problem loan reports.
• Ensure compliance with the Bank’s regulatory and credit requirements.
• Perform other administrative duties and special projects as needed for the maintenance of a portfolio of clients.
• Other projects as assigned.
