Job summary

Western Alliance Bank in Phoenix is seeking a Credit Analyst for its 2027 Commercial Banking Development Program focused on CRE-Residential. You’ll spread, analyze and maintain financial background information on clients and develop credit studies for Loan Officers and executives.

The role emphasizes collaboration across bank groups, preparation of credit reports, and supporting the Credit Administration team.

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accounting course.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• An interest in working in Commercial Banking.
• Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision.
• Entry level speaking and writing communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Spread, manage and maintain financial background information on present and prospective customers.
• Develop credit studies for Loan Officers, Chief Credit Officer and executives.
• Prepare a variety of credit department reports.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to execute treasury products and loan packages.
