Job summary

Commercial Credit Group in Williamsville, NY is seeking a Credit Analyst to join our team. The role focuses on analyzing, structuring and underwriting new business transactions, with emphasis on timely underwriting and accurate documentation.

You will perform financial statement and collateral analysis, coordinate with marketing, customers and vendors, and ensure post-funding compliance while working with senior management on visible projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
• 3–5 years of credit experience.
• Commercial finance underwriting experience.
• Experience underwriting loans for small to medium businesses.
• Equipment finance experience in construction and transportation.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Proficient in reading and spreading financial statements.

Position Responsibilities:

• Analyze, structure and recommend new business transactions.
• Financial statement and collateral analysis.
• Coordinate credit process with marketing team, customer and vendor to ensure timely and responsive transaction flow.
• Oversight of transaction documentation and funding.
• Post funding compliance.

Desired Skills:

• Commercial finance underwriting experience.
• Experience recommending/approving loans for small to medium sized businesses.
• Equipment finance experience in construction and transportation industry.
