A nonprofit organization is seeking a Credit Analyst to support its community loan fund. The ideal candidate will have a passion for financial justice and equity, with a strong background in finance and experience in credit analysis. This remote position involves client relations, loan packaging, and due diligence to ensure successful loan applications for BIPOC businesses.

Urban Strategies Inc. (USI) has strengthened its position in serving communities by expanding its community loan fund, the USI CDFI, to continue promoting stability, prosperity, and liberation. It is seeking a professional who is passionate about finance and community. While the two may seem at odds, this position with the current USI CDFI team will create opportunities for the organization to leverage its networks and resources to infuse much-needed capital for BIPOC emerging businesses.
The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, a team player, passionate about financial justice and equity, and possess a strong work ethic. Applicants must have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, with excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills, and attention to detail. Prior experience in financial analysis is preferred. Applicants must be proficient with Windows, PC navigation, and software including Excel and Word.
